Frequently asked questions and answers of the Hotel Maggiore Bologna
- At what time the room is available?
Check-in is from 2 pm. However, we are happy to allow check-in earlier when the room is available. For specific requirements and needs, please contact us.
- At what time do we have to leave the room?
We kindly ask our guests to leave the room by 12 am. If this is not possible, please ask the reception for a late check-out.
- Can I leave my luggage at the hotel?
Luggage storage is available at no charge until pick up.
- At what time can we have breakfast?
At 6.30 croissants are taken out of the oven and the breakfast buffet is ready. Products are divided in three areas: yummy breakfast, healthy breakfast, alternative breakfast. The buffet breakfast is available until 10.30 during workdays and until 12 am during non-working days. Before 6.30 or after 10.03 you can have a smaller breakfast at the hotel Bar.
If you need an Early Breakfast, ask the reception upon arrival.
- Do you have gluten-free products? Do you have vegan products?
In the breakfast room you will find the “alternative” area where vegan and gluten-free products are available. To best prepare and serve these products, please inform our reception at your arrival about your diet requirements.
- Where can I leave my car?
We have a free and unattended parking: when reserving you can ask to park your car in the garage, according to availability.
- What kind of Wi-Fi connection do you have?
In the hotel you will find a fiber-optic high speed Wi-Fi connection at no charge for our guests. You can use the Wi-Fi connection everywhere in the hotel.
- Is there a computer from which I can access the Internet in the hotel?
In the lobby you can find a cyber corner where you can surf the internet and print documents. We also have a Wi-Fi connection in all rooms to connect at no charge with your own computer and devices.
- Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
No. the Hotel Maggiore is a Smoking Free Hotel everywhere inside the building. Smoking is allowed outside the building where you can find an outdoor relaxation area.
- Is a transfer/shuttle service to/from the airport available?
Yes. There are several ways to reach the airport. Ask the reception for details upon your arrival or contact us for specific requirements.
- Is a shuttle service to the Exhibition Centre available?
During important exhibitions we organize a transfer service to and from the exhibition centre, even though it is easily accessible also by public transport or by taxi.

We accept all major credit cards: American Express - Visa - Diners - Carta Sì - Master Card - bankcards
